SUMMARY:All India Music Competition – Matri Rupen Sansthita 2026
DESCRIPTION:Purbo Diganta Foundation presents Matri Rupen Sansthita 2026\, a hybrid All India Music Competition and a musical tribute to the late legendary singer Asha Bhosle. \nSubmit your first-round performance video by 22 August 2026. \nFor registration visit: https://purbodayapp.purbodigantafoundation.com/register/candidate \nThe competition invites singers from across India to showcase their talent through songs performed by Asha Bhosle and devotional songs dedicated to Maa Durga. \nParticipant categories\n\nGroup A: 7–17 years\nGroup B: 17 years and above\n\nSong categories\nParticipants may perform one of the following: \n\nAny song performed by Asha Bhosle\, including modern or film songs in Bengali or Hindi.\nAny song based on or dedicated to Maa Durga.\n\nMaximum song duration: 3 minutes \nCompetition format\nThe competition will be conducted in three rounds. \nRound 1 – Online screening\nParticipants must record and submit their performance video by 22 August 2026. \nFive candidates from each group will be selected for the second round. \nRound 2 – Offline screening\nThe second round will be held during the morning session on 26 September 2026. \nAn offline screening will take place at the venue\, after which three candidates from each group will be selected for the Grand Finale. \nCandidates selected for Round 2 will receive guidance from a mentor and an opportunity to practise with the event musicians before performing on stage. \nSelected candidates must also submit the names of at least two songs in advance for preparation by the musicians. \nGrand Finale – Offline\nThe Grand Finale will be held during the evening session on 26 September 2026 at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra Auditorium\, Noida. \nVideo submission guidelines\n\nParticipants may use up to two musical instruments while recording their videos.\nParticipants may use light musical or karaoke accompaniment.\nBefore beginning the song\, participants must introduce themselves by stating their name\, group and place.\nThe judges’ decision will be final and cannot be changed.\n\nTravel and accommodation support\nPurbo Diganta Foundation will sponsor the following for each selected candidate and one accompanying person: \n\nThird AC train fare\nAccommodation\nMeals\nStay for 2 nights and 3 days\n\nCall to action\nShowcase your singing talent at Matri Rupen Sansthita 2026. \nSubmit your first-round performance video by 22 August 2026. \nFor registration and submission details\, visit https://purbodayapp.purbodigantafoundation.com/register/candidate
